A Review of 50/50

A Movie Poster Of 50/50
A week ago I watched the movie 50/50 staring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen. The movie was beautifully directed and the story was amazingly crafted. I will not spoil the ending but it ends really well. I think that Joseph Gordon-Levitt portrayed all of the feelings of people that go through when they have cancer with an  amazing degree of realism. I think that his role was one that was incredibly hard to play and I think that the fact that he pulled it off so well shows that he is an amazing actor. I also think that Seth Rogen played his role very well. I think that because the story was based off of Seth Rogen and his interaction with his friend who had cancer, Seth Rogen was able to portray emotions that at on time he actually felt. But even with the larger actors performing as expected the one person that surprised me was Anna Kendrick. I had only seen her in Scott Pilgrim and so I had gone in with low expectations. But at the end of the movie I became eager to see her in more. She played the awkwardness in her character very well. Between the moving of her hair in weird situations and the interaction with Joseph Gordon-Levitt she stood out in my mind even among the all star cast. I would like to end with the fact that this movie is fantastic and I think that everyone should see this.
