TheGrammy's are over and many happy artists and bands have gone home happy while even more have gone home dissapointed. As far as performances go the Grammy's were fairly disappointing. The opening performer was Bruno Mars and he rocked the big band inspired performance quite well. The second performance went to Chris Brown. That performance looked quite boring so I skipped past it. I probably did not miss out on much. Then Rihanna performed (also skipped that one). Then appearing with Rihanna and then by themselves came Cold Play. Chris Martin was slightly off key and seemed to be struggling with the performance. Skip forward a little bit and out came Foster the People and Maroon 5. They performed with the Beach Boys and rocked the performance. Then some country people came out and sang some songs and because it resembled very country performance during the Grammy's the bands were lit only with a spotlight and stood there and sung very unemotionally. Then some time after the country performance came the electronic artists performances. There was a horrible performance by Lil' Wayne, David Guetta, and another guy. The performance was badly orchestrated and looked to be filmed in a garage someplace. Then foo fighters performed and despite bad acoustics they still rocked the show. Right as the Foo Fighters finished up though Deadmau5 decided to make an appearence and performed a mash up of "Rope" with the Foo Fighters. Then Deadmau5 performed by himself and the electronic portion of the Grammy's came to an end. With the Grammy's coming to an end the most awaited performer ADELE came out and performed a fantastic rendition of "Rolling in the Deep" and even after the throat surgery that ADELE had gone through the girl still sounded amazing. Awards were given and the time slot was coming to an end so the final performance was done by no other than Sir. Paul McCartney. Overall the Grammy's were okay. Nothing fantastic was shown and last year's show was much better.
