This Sunday, I watched the first season of Workaholics. What did I think of it? Well, I'll start by saying it's somewhat disappointing. Why? It's a disappointment because most of the humor is just one or two of the three main characters pulling a rude prank on another one of the characters. Is this what people want when they want to sit down, relax, and watch some comedy on television? Sure, but the pranks get old after the first three episodes. Now, I'm not trying to bash on Workaholics. Don't get me wrong, it's a hilarious show. It has a lot of original humor that is quite refreshing and interesting. The style is not like what you expect for a show filmed in a call center. You expect it to be similar to the Office, but instead you get something that looks like it was filmed with complete strangers out in public. Which is a good thing, it makes most scenes more believable. Lastly, I feel they put too much emphasis on their consumption of drugs, but then again, they (the protagonists) are supposed to be burn-outs working at the call center because they can't get any other jobs, so it's fairly justified. All in all, it's a really funny show and I suggest you go watch it if you haven't already, but not every episode is top notch. - Pfeiffer
